Community Guidelines
Last updated August 28, 2026
Cutty is for discovering, rating, and discussing music together. Be curious, be honest, and treat the people behind every profile as people. These Guidelines apply to reviews, comments, profiles, playlists, images, and other activity on Cutty.
Share responsibly
Publish only content you have the right to share. Do not post private or identifying information about another person without permission, impersonate someone, misrepresent an affiliation, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use Cutty to coordinate deceptive activity, spam, or engagement manipulation.
Protect safety and respect
Cutty does not allow:
- Harassment, threats, stalking, targeted abuse, or intimidation.
- Hateful conduct or attacks based on protected characteristics.
- Sexually exploitative content or content that endangers minors.
- Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or unlawful conduct.
- Malware, account intrusion, access-control evasion, or attempts to disrupt the service.
- Abuse of reporting, blocking, authentication, playback, or other Cutty features.
Criticism and disagreement about music are welcome. Direct that energy at the work and the ideas, not at another listener's safety or dignity.
Report and block
Use the ••• menu on a review, comment, or profile to report content or an account. You can also block an account to limit interaction and visibility between you. Reports should be accurate and made in good faith; abusing the reporting system is itself a violation.
Do not use Cutty to report an emergency. Contact the appropriate local emergency service if someone may be in immediate danger.
How enforcement works
We may review reports and relevant account activity, remove or limit content, restrict features, preserve evidence, warn or suspend an account, or terminate access when we reasonably believe content or conduct violates these Guidelines or our Terms, threatens safety, exposes the service to risk, or must be addressed by law. Context, severity, history, and risk may affect the response.
We cannot pre-screen every item or guarantee immediate removal. If you believe an enforcement decision was mistaken, contact Cutty Support from the email address associated with your account and include enough detail to identify the decision. Do not send passwords or one-time codes.
